Friends of Farnham Hospital and Centre for Health

The Friends organisation was founded in 1954 and is a registered charity committed to supporting the hospital and GP Surgeries in delivering excellent standards of treatment and care to the local community.

How do we make a difference?

The hospital and local community benefit in many ways from our support, below are just a few:

• To improve the care and wellbeing of the patients by providing extra equipment and facilities above those which are funded and provided for by the NHS.
• Aim to increase the profile of the hospital and GP Practices through the local press, membership and connections with community groups and businesses.
• Responding directly with Ward Managers, Sisters, Clinicians and GPs who ask for our help and support.
• Keeping members abreast of our activities, donations and events by circulating twice yearly Newsletters.
• Raising vital funds through the sale of books in the Outpatient Department, raffles, membership, subscriptions, donations and legacies.
